The Reinforcer

This deck can also be made with Graendal as the Starter (which I think is a better deck). Read this page, then Click Here to see the changes required to convert this deck.

Opening Hand: Demandred, Desora, Far Dareis Mai, The Bleakness, Maidens of the Spear (SA)

Turn 1: Leave Demandred at home. Play The Bleakness. Depending on what Demandred rolls, how much pattern you want to use, and if your opponent has recruited a Maiden first turn - shuffle Desora to search for Jolien (then use her to get another troop) or to search for Nandera. Recruit everything you can. Send your Maiden(s) out for the pattern challenge.

General Tactics: Every card in this deck has reinforcement. YOU get to choose when and where your armies will clash. If your opponent has a greater force than you, keep away from them. If you have a bigger force, reinforce wherever they go, and wipe them out. If they EVER split their forces up, reinforce on thier weaker side and wipe them out. Or just wait until you have helpful events in your hand (Blood Tide/Overrun or Dance of Spears or Pitched Battle) then hit them.

Shoufa's have to go on Couladin, Urien and Mangin to give them reinforcement. If your opponent has too much reinforcement, focus on getting pattern, to become dominant and get to see where they go. Demandred's allegeince tokens are for recruiting the Andor Cavalries and Lord Meresin. Other than these few things, this deck is fairly well straight forward.

Your troops will have +2 combat dice (on average) in the Last Battle (Battle Readiness and Couladin). Your Andor Cavalry will miss out on Couladins bonus, but Far Dareis Mai make up for it by getting an additional bonus off Nandera.

Comments: If this deck works well and plays against the right kind of deck, your opponent will be on the run all game. They won't be able to split their forces up, and you can just wait until you have a good hand, then hit them. The only place for them to hide will be on the Homefront, where you are free to knock them with Genocides and Forced Backs.

Last Battle: Approx 45-65 opposition.

1 win, 2 draws (both players lose) from 3 games
